He was predeceased by: his wife Susan L. Scott (Licastro); and his brother Clyde W. Scott. He is survived by: his children, Timothy J. Scott (Lori E.) of Pleasantville, PA., Sheila K. Dubrawka (David E.) of Tionesta and Christa S. Benning (Chad) of Camp Hill, PA.; his granddaughters, Rachel E., Ashley R., Megan K., Amber M. Scott, Melissa S., Casey A., Samantha K. Dubrawka and Mackenzie A Benning; his great grandchildren, Elena and Dalton; his pet Scruffy; and his sisters, Isabel A. "Tene" Michalegko and Anna Mae Scott.
