He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Kelly and Mary Kelly (Harkins); and his brothers, Sam and Norman Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Kelly (Rudolph); his children, Patrick L. Kelly (Kim) of Tionesta, Debra Naser (Robert Jr.) of Endeavor and Mary L. Kelly of Cranberry, PA.; and his sister Bertha Hunter.
