She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry G. Ruth and Eva E. Hornberger Petrey; her husband Willis L. Carvell; her son Gerald L. Carvell; her siblings, Annabel Stump, Harry Ruth, Jr. and Vernon Ruth; and also Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Gwinn of Lititz, PA and Sid Carvell of Centreville, VA; and her half-sister Louann Bonsignore of Palmyra, NJ. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
