He is survived by: his wife Denise L. Shirker (Townsley); his son Matthew C. Shirker of Ephrata, PA; his siblings, Dale E. Shirker (Joy) of Edenton, NC and Jane Shirker Good (Alton) of Cornwall, PA.; his brother-in-law Dennis Townsley (Janice); his aunts, Janet Hackman (Elwood) of Ephrata, PA, Elaine Heisler of Ephrata, PA, Nancy Sweigart of Ephrata, PA, Anita Soto (Sam) of Ephrata, PA, Fannie Shirker of Ephrata, PA and Rita Shirker of Ephrata, PA; and his stepsisters, Blanche Palm of Narvon, PA and Barbara Hahn of Terre Hill, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received before the service from 10-11 a.m. Those who desire may make memorial contributions in Bruce's name to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the Ephrata Pioneer Fire Co., or the Lincoln Fire Co., all of Ephrata, PA.
