With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Snyder (Ephrata, Pennsylvania), born in East Earl, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 8, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac S. Stauffer and Hettie Stauffer (Weaver); her husband Harry W. Snyder; her sons, Ammon, Cleason and Clemen Snyder; her grandsons, John Mark Snyder and Lawrence Hoover; and her siblings, Willis, Eli, George, Isaac, Daniel Stauffer and Lydia Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Lucy (Leon Hoover) of Shippensburg, Esther (Melvin Hoover) of New York, Minerva (Harvey Leid) of New York, Lydia (Timothy Weaver) of Martinsburg, Harry (Edna) of New Holland, Marlin (Wilma) of New Holland, Arlene Snyder of New Holland and Emma Snyder of New Holland; her daughter-in-law Irene Snyder (late Ammon Snyder); and her sister-in-law Anna Stauffer. She is also survived by 55 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren and 33 step-great-grandchildren.
