Shirley Witmyer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Witmyer of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Shirley may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Whitman and Marie Whitman (Fahnestock); and her husband Eugene Witmyer. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly (Keith Brown) and Kevin (Kay); and her stepdaughters, Kathy Steffy, Kim Farlow and Carla Starks. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (531 N State St, Ephrata, PA 17522).
