He was predeceased by: his wife Vera K. Brower (Harris); his brother Andy Brower; and also Nell Kubaney. He is survived by: his children, Doug Brower (Nancy) of Erie and Susan Smith of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Allison Brower Berg (Dan) of Erie, Kimberley Brower Mendenhall (Drew) of New York City, Griffin Smith (Victoria) of Erie, Emily Whittle (Chris) of Raleigh, Ben Coffey of Erie and Christina Lindvay (John) of Oakland.
