She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabela "Mabel" Maude and Valdemar Wilhelm Hoksen; her adoptive father Harry James Gibson; her husband Paul; her daughter Carol Ann Kita; her siblings, Anna Mae Watts (Gibson), John "Jack" Lawrence Gibson and Robert Frank Hoksen; and her grandchildren, Paula Ann White, Adam Ray Holland, William Paul Holland and Rebecca Jane Holland.
She is survived by: her sister Billie Jean Akers (Roy) of Alta Loma, CA; and her children, Cheryl Ann Holland (Donald) of Lake City, Paul Michael Kita (Cheryl) of Erie, Robert Harry Kita (Lisa) of Colorado Springs, CO, Elaine Marie Langer (Donald) of Erie, Christine Angela Sherman (Donald) of Erie and Kathleen Paula Posway (Charles) of Raleigh, NC..
