He is survived by: his wife Elaine Stroup (Oligeri); his children, Kimberly Naccarato (Sam) of Cary, N. C., Charles Stroup, Jr. (Jean) of Orlando, FL, Daniel Stroup (Lorie) of Fairview and Eric Stroup (Sherrie) of Oliver Springs, TN; his grandchildren, Danielle Sumy (Nate), Carl Stroup, Erin Stroup, Sara Stroup, John Stroup (Kimberly) and Zackery Stroup; and his siblings, Eleanor Smith (Wallace), Alice Cardwell and Ricky Stroup (Vanessa). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
