He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie E. Gibbs and Edith M. Gibbs (Darling); and his sisters, Mabel McKee, Bettie Halstead, Franny Burmiester, Idah Gibbs and Beth Barker.
He is survived by: his brother Danny Gibbs; and his sibling's children, Wayne Barker, Robin, Tim (Cindy), Russ Barker (April) and Gail Kelley (Barker).
