He was predeceased by : his parent David A. Funk; his former life partner Patricia Anderson Funk; his stepmother Mildred Otteni Smith Funk; and his granddaughter Kori Durkin. He is survived by : his parent Gertrude Steinbarth Funk; his wife Maxine E. Durkin Funk; his sons, David R. Funk of Millcreek and Robert F. Funk of Lawrence Park; his grandchildren, Joshua Funk and Tyler Durkin; his stepsiblings, Kathy Bruno (Robert) of Erie, Sandy Smith of Erie and Charles Smith of Grant, FL; and his stepsons, Michael J. Durkin (Anne) of Cape Coral, FL and Patrick Durkin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins; and many extended family.
