He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Sauers and Clarice Sauers (Dietz); and his siblings, Ronald, Dennis, Keith, Mark Sauers and Jacqualeen Kinnear.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Sauers; his children, Natalie, Brian Sauers, David Sauers (Brian) and Amber Miles (Rob); his grandchildren, Dajon and Derek; and his sisters, Betsy Sauers (Lorie) and Pam Carmosino (Nino). He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
