He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Lee Rowry; and his grandparents, Othor and Annie B. Jells. He is survived by: his mother Jearlean Jells Rowry Parker; his children, Shaderia Rowry, Erica Davis, Derrick Jr., Deonte and Khalil Rowry; his stepdaughter Shayla Gamble; his siblings, Sharlada Rowry, Antonio (Melissa), Nolan (Marcella), Kendall (Tina) and Frederick Rowry (Dorothy); and his grandchildren, Latayja Pulliam, Jamaya Hollingsworth, Deaira, Iyana (Derrick Rowry), Derrick, Deara Warren and Heaven Rowry. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
