We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 48, DeShawn Allen Sr. of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Justin Prescott; and his stepson Deonte Tate. He is survived by: his parent Charlene Crosby; his fiancée Andrea "Aon" Harris; his children, DeShawn Allen Jr., Rashad "Shawnee" Allen, Daishawnsa Allen, Ashanti Allen and Rajean Allen; his stepchildren, Shannon Mathis Jr., Shataya Mathis and Shanique Mathis; his siblings, Charles Prescott Jr., Marvin Sanders and Carlina Mitchell; and his grandmother Ruth Ranson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis - Garr Cremation and Funeral Services (459 E 12th St, Erie, PA 16503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. (459 E 12th St, Erie, PA 16503).
