It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emeritus Willie A. Harris (Erie, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mae Curlett and Harry Jordan; his sisters, Dorothy Harris and Madeline Harris; his son William "Ticky" Harris (Heddie); his former wife Shirley Harris; and his stepson Ivan Fleming.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Harris; his children, Deborah Harris, Mary McLendon, Steven Harris (Connie), Sandra Keys (Charles), Deidre Harris-McLaurin (Walter) and Edward Paul Harris; his stepchildren, Tracy Fleming and Patrick Fleming; his great grandchildren, Kayla and Grace; his niece Candace Battles (Trelane Sherod); and his friends, Rodney Walker, Robert Arrington, Marcia Butler and Renee Myers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Second Baptist Church (757 E 26th St, Erie, PA 16504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
