He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his grandchildren, Paul Bryan Mischler (Linda Fitts Mischler), Eaton, Ainsley of Lebanon, Ohio, Michael Forrest Mischler (Mary Margaret Mischler), Melissa, Katherine, Michelle, Joseph and Kelly of Erie; and his sisters, Roberta Steinhoff of Albion, Pennsylvania, Alice Marie Ogg of Girard, Pennsylvania and Naomi Burwell of St. Augustine Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family would deeply appreciate donations to St. Patrick's Haven, a homeless shelter for men, or another charity.
