It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Dominick Vona of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Vona and Mary Felice Vona; his grandparents, Frank "Scotty", Santa Vona, Sam and Josephine Felice; his parents-in-law, Edward and Katheryn Angelotti; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Clark, Ronald Angelotti and Joan Heubel.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Vona (Angelotti); his children, Mary Kay Vona of Florida, Jeffrey Vona of Erie and Dianne Vona (Danny Trujillo) of New Mexico; his siblings, Sandra Clark and Sam Vona (Judie Vona); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lynn Angelotti, Dave Heubel of Erie and Carol Angelotti (Brahosky) of Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Frank fought a tough battle and did not want to leave his beloved wife, children, and son-in-law, who made sacrifices and took special care of him, especially for the two years at home during a global pandemic.
