He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cornelius and Hazel Marie Smith Cornelius; his wife Marjorie Stevens Cornelius; and his siblings, Albert Cornelius, Lillian Morrison and Helen Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Cornelius (Rosemarie "Mia") of Erie, Edwin Cornelius of East Springfield, PA and E. Susan Sharra (Robert) of Florida; his grandchildren, Megan Sanderson and Matthew Sharra (Kaitlyn); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Eleanor; and his sister Gretchen Tice (Charles) of Mentor, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
