He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Roos and Marian Roos (Short); his daughter Theresa Rittenhouse; his siblings, Edward Roos (Aida), Richard Roos and Rita Callahan (Paul); and his pets, Marty and Holly.
He is survived by: his significant other Rosemarie Roos (Schick); his sons, Gary Roos, John Roos (Joyce) and Edward "Butch" Roos (Laura); his sister Marian Bates (Thomas); his sister-in-law Mary Ann Roos; and his pet Lily. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Research Hospital.
