He was predeceased by: his parents, John Truchanowicz and Helen Truchanowicz (Kosiorek); his son Paul Truchanowicz; his grandson Jonathan Gibbs; his stepfather John Wyzykowski; and his siblings, Eugene Truchanowicz (Sally), Sophie Grochulski (Ed) and Josephine Baran (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Truchanowicz (Henke); his children, Cheri Harrington of Las Vegas, Deena Buccigrossi (Marc) of Erie, Victoria Truchanowicz (Roberta Raszkowski) of Erie, Gloria Gibbs (Jeff) of Erie and Gregory Truchanowicz of Florida; and his grandchildren, Alex, Courtney, Danielle, Aaron, Samantha and Henry. He is also survived by three great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
