He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Merlyn and Twila Alverta Horn-Markham; and his siblings, Larry Markham and Marilyn Regnier. He is survived by: his children, James R. Markham, Jr. (Diane), Jana R. Sharrar and Jessica R. Markham; his granddaughter Bergen Sharrar; and his brother Robert Markham (Patricia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
