With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Wilcott of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on April 26, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Caldwell and Kitty Caldwell; and his wife Celestine Wilcott. He is survived by : his children, Richard Jones, James Wilcott, Jr. (Patricia), Kareem Wilcott, Sr. (Racheal), William Morrow (Charmone) and Qwawtiesa Morrow (Shelton); and his brother Willie Wilcott (Eleanor). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and In-laws.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (1719 Cascade St, Erie, PA 16502). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
