With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan H. Pietras (Erie, Pennsylvania), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank W. Snyder and Frieda E. Snyder (Weber); her husband Eugene J. Pietras; her son John Pietras; and her brother Jack Snyder.

She is survived by : her children, Frank Pietras, Suzanne M. Cheney, Timothy R. Pietras (Rosalind) and Diane E. Wagner (Jim); and her sister Barbara Rodgers (David). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
