He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Adler and Marcella Adler (Scherr). He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Adler (Causgrove); his daughters, Deborah Boland (Mike), Julie Hansen (David), Denise Holmstrom and Diane Kiehlmier (Michael); his grandchildren, Dr. Tony Sack (Mary), Jonathan Sack (Lori), Katelyn Hansen, Captain Wesley Hansen (Jess Lopez), Jake Holmstrom, Lexxie Holmstrom, Halle Woodworth and L. J. Kiehlmier (Jasmine); and his sister Nancy Rugare. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to John's family.
