He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Giebfried and Ruth Steffans Giebfried. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Giebfried; his daughters, Amy B. Angel (Michael) of Justin and Dawn M. Szczesny (Ray) of Beaver, PA; his brothers, James Giebfried (Motria) of Earlysville, Virginia and Joseph Giebfried (Rosemary) of Bangor, Maine; and his grandchildren, Ashley White, Jacob Yochim, Kaden Yochim, Natalie Yochim, Hannah Szczesny and Emily Szczesny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
