He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Soboleski and Mary Soboleski (Bednarski); his foster mother Betty Eckman; his siblings, Mike, Bruno, Lenny Soboleski and Mary Crawley; and his son-in-law Jim Laughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McLaughlin Soboleski (Koper); his daughters, Deborah Balogh (Tim) and Chris Laughin; his grandchildren, John Balogh (Katie), Matthew McLaughlin, Amanda Weiner (Josh) and Joshua Mysnyk; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Caleb and Lucas Weiner; his brothers, Walter (Nancy) and Frank Soboleski; and his foster siblings, Greg Kassick (Vickie), Tom Eberle, Frank Eberle (Kathy), Cheryl Stadalnikas (John) and Lauren "Susie" Sperry (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
