She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Curci and Marie Rose Curci; and her husband Peter Wernicki. She is survived by: her son Michael Wernicki; her daughter-in-law Maura Evans; her grandson Maxwell Wernicki; and her sister Gloria Garcia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center 2500 West 12th St. Erie, PA 16505.
