Simmons; her grandchildren, Sahni Thompson and Jeremiah Thompson; her great-nephews, Marcell Jones and Mitchel Jones; her niece Erica Lucas; her goddaughter Unique Jones; her uncle Percy Jones, Sr.; and her friends, Dorothy Mae Carson Lofton and Barbara Ann DeBerry.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Miya Johnson (Stephen), Jiaonna Lucas, George Johnson (Lachanda) of Erie, Ryan Johnson of Erie and Tyree Crockett, Sr. of Erie; her sibling's children, Maurice Jones (Patricia), Michael Jones of Erie, PA, Marshall Jones of Atlanta, GA, Melissa, Monica, Tammy Jones (Garry), Jamiee Smith and Monique Sophia Jones of Erie; and her close friend Helen Gamble Johnson of Perry Hall, MD.. She is also survived by twelve beautiful great grandchildren.
