He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Viva J. Herrington of San Diego and Lloyd A. Hallas, Sr.; his siblings, Robin Pirrello, Robert Allsopp, Lance Hallas, Roxanne Minnick of Erie, Tina Droegemeier (Alan) of Utah and Tammy Sisk of Utah; his brother-in-law Philip Pirrello; and his close friend Jason Vonhof. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
