She was predeceased by: her husband George Andrew Bowden; her children, Daniel Bowden and Patricia Hazlett; her siblings, Robert McDonald, Mary Jean Murosky, Madelyn Scharrer, Frances Fromknecht, Kathryn Joan Barr and Rose Marie Herbstritt; and her great grandchild Pauline Cullen.
She is survived by: her children, George Bowden, Jr. (Naphathai) of Waterford, Timothy Bowden of West Springfield, PA, Eileen Cullen of Erie and Anne Storey (William) of Roswell, GA; her daughters-in-law, Roberta Bowden of Erie and Kathy Bowden of Erie; and her siblings, Dorothy Davies of Florida and William McDonald of Erie. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
