It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Austin (Erie, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Mullen and Joan M. Mullen; her husband Gary Lee Austin; her brother John C. Mullen; her pets, Willy, Max, Scooby, Jack, Winston, Chloe, Scarlett and Farley; and her cronies, Helen, Enis, Al and Jeanne.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Paolello (James) of Erie, PA and Nicholas Galbo (Nikki) of Ridgway, PA; her grandchildren, Calvino Paolello of Erie, PA, Summer Logue (Scotty) of Chesapeake, VA, Isabella Galbo of Pittsburgh, PA, Nolan Galbo of Ridgway, PA, Alex Galbo of Ridgway, PA, Jordan Galbo of Ridgway, PA and Miles Galbo of Ridgway, PA; her great grandchild Adam Logue of Chesapeake, VA.; her brother Mark Mullen (Rhea Manning) of Ridgway, PA; her close friend Patti Havekost of Milford, PA.; and her child Mo's.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 4400 E Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16511.
