He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Dietrich and Lucille Mattson Dietrich; his sons, Michael Dietrich and Richard Dietrich; and his siblings, Larry Dietrich, Joyce White and Shirley Alicea.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Harvey-Dietrich; his son Robert Dietrich (Lisa) of South Carolina; his siblings, Arden Dietrich (Cleo) of Columbiana, John Dietrich of Corry, George Dietrich of Alabama and Patricia Munn (Charles) of Magnolia, Ohio; his stepchildren, Malcom Cattau, Jerome Cattau, Sue Crisswell, Janet Cattau and Luke Cattau; his daughter-in-law Sara Dietrich; his grandchildren, Dusty, Richie, Rebecca and Bean; and his great grandchild Madison Grace Dietrich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
