He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick John Smith and Sally Mae Dinges Smith of Harbor Creek, Pennsylvania.; and his pet Queso. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Steward (Kay) of North East, Pennsylvania. and Kathleen E. Walczak (Eugene) of North East, Pennsylvania.; and his siblings' children, Jessie Smith-Adams of Chester, Vt., Will Smith (Allie) of Brooklyn, Liana Walczak and Esquire of Cleveland, Ohio.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and a few dozen cousins and many friends.
He had been employed as a casino promotions manager from 2007 until 2020 (due to Covid19) at Presque Isle Casino in Erie and Scioto Downs in Columbus, Ohio.
