He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gatewood and Maxine Stakley Gatewood; and his brothers, John Gatewood and Keith Cook. He is survived by: his children, Missy Swanson (Jeff) of Mt. Jewett, Scott Gatewood of James City and Erik Gatewood (Pam) of Arvada, CO; his grandchildren, Austin, Ashley Swanson, Dylan, Cody Gatewood, Riley and Taylor Gatewood; his close friend Kathy McCloskey; Soni and Kristy.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Home at Kane, 100 High Point Drive, Kane, PA 16735.
