He was predeceased by: his parents, Rader Gross and Della Haddix Gross; his siblings, Burnice "Bernie" Gross, Janice Steen and Eunice Mancuso; and his cousin Jim Fouch.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bednarski Gross; his children, Daniel Gross of Erie, Michael Gross (Kelly) of Maryland and Michelle Higgins of Harborcreek; and his grandchildren, DJ Gross, Michaela Gross, Amanda Gross, Jake Gross, Jessica Frick (Alex), Joseph Higgins and Joshua Higgins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
