He was predeceased by: his parents, R. J. Burrows and Martha Burrows (Shaw); his sister Shirley Willis Scott; and his stepfather Andrew Fox, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Burrows (Selby); his siblings, Elmor Burrows of Erie, Chester Burrows (Jackie) of Erie, Andrew Fox, Jr. of Erie and Patricia Miles of Erie; his children, Robert Burrows, Jr. of Erie, Davon Selby (Tina) of Erie, Cody Johnston (Wanda) of Erie, Dorothy Jean Heinz of Detroit, Shakayla Moore (Malcolm) of Erie, Roniaya Burrows of Erie, Teia McRae (Michael) of Erie, Shara Gowdy (Hardy) of Erie and Ebony Crowell (Lenord) of Erie; his grandchildren, Tashara Beason, Melvin Henderson and Keniya Selby; and his close friends, Allan Pullium, Sr., Ronnie Hollingsworth, Yogi Troop and Joe Salmi. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Following all current Covid-19 guidelines, visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 155 E. 21st St. Erie, PA 16503 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm.
