He is survived by: his wife Susan Hill Paterniti; his children, Amy Burhenn (Steven) of Erie, Lori Onorato (David) of Erie, Kristy Bardo (Ryan) of Erie and Ronald James "RJ" Paterniti of Erie; his grandchildren, Shawn, Ashley, Drew, Jacob, Ava, Natalie, Sophia, Anthony and Carmella; his great grandchildren, Keegan and Nolan; and his siblings, Norb Paterniti (Dorris), Connie Lushini (Tom), Kathy Bennetti (Paul) and Chuck Paterniti (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
