With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rudenia Sansom of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Heidelberg, Mississippi, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Raphus Hales and Katie M. Sanders Hales; her husband George Sansom Sr.; her godson Jeffrey Sansom; her grandchild Quanesha Knight; and her siblings, Elzenia Dantzler (Jack), Lennie Cooley, Mildred Hales and Jack B. Hales.
She is survived by : her children, Helene Keene (Don), Veronica Michelle Sansom and George Sansom Jr.; her godchildren, Raphus Sansom (Alicia), Amesha Goodwine and Jason Arrington; her grandchildren, Shannon Sansom, Sean Tate (Mauri), Shiara Pettis (Jerome), Jarod Tracy, Tashae King, Aujhalon Sansom and George Sansom III; and her siblings, Estella Sansom (Melvan), Larry D. Hales, Rev. Ray E. Hales, Rev. L. Richard Hales (Savannah), Virgina Anderson (Major) and Katie Breland (Tim). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
