He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Walter and Irene Anker Phelps; his wife Marilyn A. Yochim Phelps; and his sister Arlene Edmonds. He is survived by: his son Kevin Phelps of Erie; his nephew Todd Edmonds (Becky); his great-nephew Cody; his great-niece Emma; his niece Melodie Anderson (Richard); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kelsey and Tyler; his close friends, Sue and Tim Church; and his Therapy dog Maggie.
