He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Burkett and Marion Burkett (Sokolowski). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Burkett (Madara); his children, Thomas of McKean, Timothy (Elise Graham) of McKean, Troy Burkett (Sharon) of McKean and Tammy Waisley (Dan) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Joshua Kriebel, Autumn Burkett, Jacquelyn, Zachary Burkett, Alicia Kriebel, Daniel, Tanner, Sierra Waisley, Tatum and Liam Burkett of McKean; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Ashton, Tobi Kriebel and Syndel Newby; his siblings, Denise Krawczyk of Erie and Brian Burkett of California; and his nephews, Ryan and James Krawczyk. He is also survived by his family and friends, watching his son's football games, his grandchildren.
