He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bassham and Annie Mae Salter; his daughters, Cynthia Jean Salter Williams and Ciara Salter; his sister Phyllis E. Bassham; and his nephew Michael Salter, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Irvina Salter; his children, Tyrone Salter, Jr., Tyree Salter, Tyshawn Salter, Tyzan Salter, Tywan Salter, Tyria Salter, Latoya Salter, Tabatha Robinson, Latressa Martin (Emmanuel), Tia Henley (Christopher) and Esther Oquenda; his godchildren, Jackie Jr., Tiffany, Henry, Dorothy Williams and Tanisha Nicole Keith; his siblings, Patricia Poston, Kenneth Walter, Irene, Geraldine, Michael, Dolores Salter and Thomas Saunders; and his uncle Larry Salter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Following all current Covid-19 guidelines, including masks required for all in attendance, visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at New Life and Spirit Revival Center, 315 E. 9th St., Erie, PA 16503 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm.
