We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Walter Schmidt of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Glendale, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Helen, John, Daniel and Edward; and his former wife Jackie.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Loveland Schmidt; his children, Walter E. Schmidt (Rosemarie) and Jerilyn Pascale (Peter); and his grandchildren, Erica Pascale Greene (Matthew), Kevin Pascale and Erich Schmidt.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with full Military Honors.Walter's family is thankful to the staff at Westlake Woods and UPMC Family Home Care & Hospice for wonderful care and support during his final days.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NYC PBA Widows and Children's Fund, 125 Broad St, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10004-2400.
