He is survived by: his wife Eileen Brittner Rieger; his sons, Ron Paul Rieger (Ruth) of Texas, Daniel Rieger (Janet Kerry) of Karns City and Charles Richard Domhoff (Julie Marie) of Freeport; his sister Linda Ochs (George Bonnett) of Chicora; and his sister-in-law Suzie Slagle Rieger of West Sunbury. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
