It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Ernest Shaffer of Evans City, Pennsylvania, born in Girard, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shaffer and Elsie Shaffer; and his wife Madelyn Rice Shaffer. He is survived by: his son Kirk McCool (Sharon) of Evans City; his sisters, Norma Lyons of Butler and Ruth Ann Williams of Saxonburg; and his sister-in-law Ann Rice of Evans City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Evans City Food Cupboard c/o St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, PA 16033.
