He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. J. Albert and Elizabeth Eyler (Wohlsen); and his siblings, Paul W. Eyler, MD and Anna Mary Deemer. He is survived by: his wife Doris Weyant Eyler (Smith); his daughters, Lynne E. Martin (Bob) of Sandy Lake and Jan Snyder-Hess (Jerry Hess) of Lancaster; his stepsons, Lynn Weyant (Lisa) of Schellsburg and Brian Weyant (Angie) of Everett; his grandchildren, Todd Powers (Kirstan) of Erie, Jennifer Hoffman (Chris) of Indiana, Jeff Snyder (Melanie) of Lancaster, Ben Snyder (Fabienne Jach) of Oakland, CA and Kate Snyder (Jannes Hendriks) of Johannesburg; his stepgrandchildren, Brett Weyant (Colten) of Carlisle and Ashley Eidem (Nick) of Hollidaysburg; his great grandchildren, Brady, Brooke, William, Ethan, Ivy and River; and his stepgreat-grandson Nash.
