She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Black and Bernice Black-Logue (Dean); her husband Arthur Hess; and her grandson Corey Greenwald. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Gelvin of Hopewell, PA, Kathy Barton (Merle) of Hopewell, PA, Pam Greenwald (Jesse Eshelman) and Sherry Miller (Jim) of Yellow Creek, PA; and her brothers, Robert Black (Cheryl) of Lititz, PA and Steve Black (Jennifer) of Elizabethtown, PA.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
