He was predeceased by: his father Dale Mearkle. He is survived by: his mother Mabel Mearkle (Bernhard) of Everett; his siblings, William K. Mearkle (Kimberly) of Clearville, PA, Randy L. Mearkle of Breezewood, PA and Karen Colledge (Joel) of Clearville, PA; and his close friend Judy Ling of Breezewood, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
