He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Diehl and Gloria Jean Diehl (Hammond) of Everett; and his grandparents, Raymond, Lydia Diehl, John and Roberta Graham.

He is survived by: his half-brother Clinton Whited of Tampa, FL; his nephew Ty Lee Bumbaugh; and his close friend Angie Taylor. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
