She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Roane; and her parents, Edgar Horton and Rovellar Horton. She is survived by : her son Ernest B. Horton (Evelyn); her grandchildren, Ernest A. (Melanie), Constance and Dawna Horton; her great grandchildren, Imani-Kai, Ernest Xavier and Jasmine Horton; her stepchildren, Barbara Johnson (Henry), Michael and Beverly Roane; and her siblings, Shirley Chester, Benjamin (Barbara) and McCurtis Horton (Marcel). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
