It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy E. McCarthy (Factoryville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Nancy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nancy leaves behind.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Parish (704 Montdale Rd, Scott, PA 18447). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart 30 Ed Preate Dr. Suite 108, Moosic PA 18507.
